Grable plays Lorry Jones, a stenographer and part-time USO entertainer in this WWII flagwaver. Not one of Grable's best, is still enjoyable. The plot is rather contrived, but is still humorous. But she bites off more than she can chew when she upstages Martha Raye for the attention of Gaudalcanal hero John Harvey.
